Transmountain RoadLow altitude aerial view of Transmountain Road near the summit in El Paso, Texas. El Paso's Transmountain Road connects the Northwest and Northeast parts of the city via seemingly rural, winding mountain road. Much of the land near the summit and on the west side is within the boundaries of the Franklin Mountains State Park. The trailhead for the Ron Coleman trail is found near the summit and can be seen in the photo above.

Anson Mills BuildingThe historic Anson Mills Building in Downtown El Paso, Texas. Click to purchase a print or digital download. The Anson Mills building has been fully restored and upgraded over the past few years. Recently, the street that runs in front of the building has reopened with the completion of the improvements along the street. I took the opportunity to photograph this building using a technical camera so that it would maintain proper perspective. Even with a wide angle lens from across the street, multiple exposures had to be stitched together to capture the entire building from bottom to top.

A large statue of Don Juan de Onate greets visitors and locals as they visit the El Paso International Airport. The statue is part of the Twelve Travelers project that includes another statue located in Pioneer Plaza in downtown El Paso.
