This week's featured photo comes from the collection of photos of Southern New Mexico. As you drive toward Ruidoso you will notice St. Joseph Apache Mission Church nestled in the trees among the foothills of the forest. The historic church makes a great subject.

This section of downtown El Paso has undergone many changes in recent years. Most recent is the addition of the plaza between the Museum of Art and the restaurant attached to the Plaza Theatre. The view above shows the museum in the foreground, the Plaza hotel in the background and the dome of the Plaza Theatre just to the left of center.

Snow is a rare event in El Paso but when it snows the city takes on a rare beauty. The photo above shows the downtown skyline after a snowfall. The mountains in neighboring Juarez act as a snowy backdrop for downtown El Paso's buildings.
